"Man on the Train (L'Homme du Train)" is a fascinating character study directed by respected French director Patrice LeConte. The film is a character study of two very different men who meet by chance and become friends as they each approach a crossroads in their lives. Manesquier (Jean Rochefort) is a retired teacher who is bored with the life that he has lived in the same house in the same little French town. Milan (Johnny Hallyday) is a hardened criminal who envies the simple pleasures of his new friend's life.
