Jonathan William Patrick Aitken (born 30 August 1942) is a former Conservative Member of Parliament and government minister. Member of Parliament for Thanet East Feb (1974–1983), Member of Parliament for South Thanet (1983–1997). He was convicted of perjury and perverting the course of justice in 1999 and received an 18-month prison sentence, of which he served seven months.
